Dom Campbell is an American filmmaker who hails from the northside of Columbus, Ohio, a community that has deeply shaped his identity and vision. Growing up in an evolving neighborhood, Dom was inspired by the resilience and creativity of those around him. His passion for filmmaking was ignited early on, and with determination, he taught himself the ins and outs of the business by the age of 19. Dom’s journey has been profoundly influenced by his mother, a pillar of strength and faith in his life. She instilled in him the belief that, with faith in God and unwavering determination, anything is possible—even the dreams that seem unreachable. Her guidance and teachings have been the foundation upon which Dom has built his career and life philosophy. In pursuit of his dreams, Dom founded Emperium Studios, a production company, with the goal of cultivating the entertainment culture in the Midwest and creating opportunities for local talent. Through his work, he is committed to producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences and uplifts his community. 

 

Dom’s journey took a significant turn when he relocated to Los Angeles to further his mission and create engaging content for children and families. Along the way, he discovered a newfound passion for writing, realizing that his experiences and lessons learned—both from others and through his own journey—could inspire aspiring creatives like himself. As a father of three, Dom is dedicated to passing on the values his mother instilled in him: the importance of faith, perseverance, and giving back to the community.
